John (JT) Thomas - OAM.KSS.
Non-Executive Chairman
John (JT) Thomas has been involved in banking, finance and funds management activities for 49 years. He has managed Howard Mortgage Trust for 17 years and grew the trust to over $3.0 billion to be the largest and consistently the best performing trust of its kind in Australia. JT was formally the chairman of the Financial Services Council mortgage fund sector. He has also previously advised APRA and ASIC on industry matters. JT also has an enviable record of not having lost a single cent of investor funds in his mortgage and property fund activities.
Dr John Morrison
Responsible Manager
John Morrison has over 37 years of broad corporate and consulting experience in management, governance, compliance, investment and research in superannuation, funds management, platform/managed account and financial planning environments. He also has broad governance experience in funds management as a director, non-executive director and Responsible Manager. This has included the roles of chair of the board and chair/member of risk management committees, investment committees and Compliance committees.

Associate Director
Cici is responsible for growing Vestyn Capital’s distribution capabilities and heads up lending operation, ensuring smooth lending services for our valuable referral partners and borrowers. With her extensive experience in private lending, she is specialised in structuring deals and crafting customized finance solutions for each unique circumstance. Her dedication to providing exceptional support to both internal and external stakeholders is instrumental in driving the business growth.
Tanya Wu
Strategic Partnership Manager
Tanya is responsible for building, governing, and expanding high-impact stakeholder relationships that drive commercial opportunity and long-term growth. She works across a broad partner ecosystem to align strategic priorities, unlock collaborative value, and progress initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes. With a strong focus on strategic engagement and relationship stewardship, she ensures partnerships are actively managed, commercially aligned, and future-focused, while strengthening market positioning to support sustained organisational success.
Skye Zhang
Investor Relationship Manager
Skye holds an EMBA from Northwestern Polytechnic University with extensive experience leading asset acquisitions and real estate development initiatives in collaboration with listed entities. With more than ten years of fund and asset management expertise across China and Australian fund institutions, Skye brings strong cross-border industry knowledge and a proven track record in investor engagement. She has successfully guided teams through complex transactions, including pre-IPO private placements, managing capital raising to support strategic growth of the Vestyn mortgage fund management business.

Kristopher brings proven expertise in private credit origination, specializing in alternative lending solutions. Having worked in investment banking, real estate private equity, and non-bank lending, Kristopher has built a successful track record of identifying and securing risk-adjusted lending opportunities. Passionate about finding tailored solutions, he is dedicated to addressing the unique needs of brokers and clients. Charbel is a results-driven finance professional with extensive experience across banking and commercial brokering. He has worked as a Business Banker with one of the Big Four banks and as a Senior Commercial Broker at a boutique firm specialising in real estate and business acquisition finance. Hardworking and client-focused, Charbel’s success is driven by delivering tailored financial solutions, building strong relationships, and consistently creating meaningful value for his clients.
